Introducing the first Sunnyvale Savage Seven tournament, hosted at Cherry Chase Elementary School in sunny Sunnyvale, California. Eight teams, each with a maximum of nine rostered players, are guaranteed five one-hour rounds of play on Saturday June 16th. For each round, seven players will play savage (without substitutes) for the round. Cost is $15 per player, Paypal preferred.

format:

8 team hat tournament format of 9 players each team, seven playing for an entire round

Each team will play 3 of the first 4 rounds, and, after the 1/2 hour lunch break, 2 of the 3 afternoon rounds.

We will provide sandwich fixings (PBJ), fruit (oranges and bananas) and water.

• Rosters of 9 players
• Each team must have a minimum of three women on it.
• Each round is one hour long
• For each round of play, seven players are chosen to play in that round. No subsitutes are allowed for that round of play.
• Injury subs are allowed. Any player leaving a game for injury may not return to play that round. If a team does not have sideline subs, the team may play with fewer than seven players.
• We'll be playing the UPA's 11th edition rules with the 10th edition pick rules.
• Rounds are one hour long
• Games to 9
• All players must be UPA members.

For insurance reasons, the tourney will be UPA sanctioned so to play you must be a current UPA member. Yes, we will check. If we are unable to confirm your membership (say, because you sign up late), you can pay $10 at the tournament (in the form of a check made out to the UPA) for a single event UPA membership.

baggaging:

At registration, you may partner with up to three other players to form a core of the team. We reserve the right to break any even-numbered baggaged group into separate teams, should too many partner groups sign up.

You may also register without any baggage. You will be assigned to team.

The number of players is limited so signup will be first come first serve. Sign up on the registration page, then follow the subsequent instructions which include sending payment via Paypal.
